We require all pets to provide proof of Rabies prior to any services being rendered.
Due to pets getting distracted when their owners are present, we highly advise against anyone staying while their pet is being groomed. We do not allow customers to help or have any sort of hands on interactions with their pet while we are working on them. We also ask that you do not speak to your pet while we are working with them to avoid any distractions. To ensure the safety of your pet, if they becomes too distracted we will have to either ask you to step out or end the grooming process.
On average, we are able to get pets back to their owners within 1-3 hours. We go at each pets pace therefore, some pets may be in our care for longer periods of time. Some pets require breaks in order to lessen their stress or give their bodies a rest during their groom. We do offer express grooms on certain days. This will ensure your pet is worked on start to finish without breaks.
We recommend pets are groomed every 4-8 weeks.
We recommend pets are brushed at least a few times per week although, daily is ideal. You will need to use a firm slicker brush AND a fine tooth greyhound comb. Be sure to brush each section all the way to the skin. Most matting occurs due to owners 1.) not brushing often enough and 2.) not using the proper brushing techniques and only brushing the top layer of hair.
We follow the Kaufman County public school closures as they pertain to inclimate weather. We try to work as long as conditions are not dangerous. If you are unsure, please call us to confirm. Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee. In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 24 hour period. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.
It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
We will call or text you when your pet is ready for pick up. To ensure the safety of each pet, we ask you do not come into the salon before an employee has notified you of your pet being complete. Due to how excited pets get when they see their owners, arriving before your pet is complete may result in us not being able to complete the groom.
We require all major credit/debit cards, checks and cash. We do not accept Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay etc. at this time.
We ask that pets are picked up within an hour of their service being completed. If you need to leave for a longer time frame. please disclose that at time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional fees of $15 per hour.
